ABOUT

Alan Nolan

Leadership. Service. Results.

Alan and his wife Wendy moved to Spokane in 2015 with their three children after his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Alan flew rescue and special operations helicopters before transitioning to fighter aircraft. He later commanded a pilot training squadron, leading large and complex organizations and managing millions in resources. His military career was built on discipline, accountability, and mission-first leadership.

After retiring from active duty, Alan and Wendy launched a successful design and construction firm in Spokane. As a small business owner, Alan understands firsthand the challenges created by excessive regulation, rising costs, and government inefficiency. Their company employs a talented local team and has earned regional and state recognition for excellence.

In 2023, concerned about the direction of local schools, Alan ran for the Mead School Board and defeated a 25-year incumbent. As a school director, he helped end years of deficit spending, restore fiscal discipline, and refocus district priorities on academic achievement. He has consistently pushed back against state overreach and worked to ensure schools prioritize core education over political agendas.

Across military service, business leadership, and public office, Alan has demonstrated a consistent ability to take on entrenched systems and produce results. He brings disciplined leadership, real-world business experience, and a deep commitment to faith, family, and constitutional principles.

Now he’s ready to bring that same results-driven leadership to Olympia — and help put Washington back on the right track.

Restore Opportunity. Return Accountability. Reclaim Our Future.
